This is wisdon that will shine on all, without distinction, who maintain an open mind and an unprejudiced desire to search for truth. Because 'truth' and 'wisdom', besides 'love', are the highest ideals, might I suggest that to reach these heights, one must seek the opposite path to attain these goals, by passing through the portals of humility. Stephen Crane understood this clearly in his poem, "The Wayfarer"...
Perceiving the pathway to truth,
Was struck with astonishment.
It was thickly grown with weeds.
"Ha," he said,
"I see that none has passed here
In a long time."
Later he saw that each weed

So if 'Theosophy' becomes very difficult to understand, keep reading Steiner's book, and keep turning the pages, because Steiner will eventually share, out of the many perspectives, one perspective that will light up and awake an understanding that lies dormant within your spirit. This is what makes him a great teacher. Yes, "...each weed will become a singular knife"... However, Mr. Crane is right on; "Doubtless, there are other roads".
